The Quoting Catholic

Quoting the Bible, Prayers, Saints, and Other Notable Catholics

Welcome to The Quoting Catholic blog. My attempt to collect quotes from the Bible, saints, and other Catholic figures and prayers to express my love and commitment to my faith through blogging. I have found blogging very enjoyable in expressing other areas of my life. I have two other blogs where I focus on other interest: MotherWifeStudentWorkerand Psychology Quotes. However, I felt I needed to start another blog that focuses completely on my faith. For that reason, I started The Quoting Catholic. Whether or not anyone comes by, I will continue to collect quotes. If you like them you can leave a comment or “Like” the post.

  1. I am so, so glad I found you on twitter and through that found this blog. I’m born and raised Catholic but it’s been a while since I turned to God and Our Holy Mother. They’ve looked after me through some real difficult times in my life and in these last 2 months I’ve been completely and utterly ungrateful. Well, I’m rambling….thank you for this blog. Hugs

  2. Thanks for the beautiful and blessed site! You’ve been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award at!

  3. I’ve found your blog entertaining and informative, so I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award! It may not seem like much, but it’s a great way to build your reader base. I hope you’ll consider participating! Christ’s peace be with you!

  4. Hello,

I am exited to find your blog about saint quottes!!

I have a deep passion to share these words on posters for consumers to display in their homes and offices. I was wondering if you would like to see some example of my vision at my website .

Perhaps your blog could assist my work by supplying the right quotes and build a team effort in promoting the beauty that is found in saint quotes. 😀

You have quite a vast reservoir of quotations … If you would like to help me make “Poster Their Words” flourish please contract me some time.

May God richly bless you and your loved ones. 🙂

    • Jacinta,
Thanks! I’m glad to read you liked the blog. Right now, I have a lot going on and would prefer not to add any other projects to my plate. However, you are always welcome to come by and look for and use quotes for your website. Also, if you have any suggestions for future quotes or questions about a quote, you are always welcome to suggest or ask. God bless you always! 🙂

  5. Wow! What an awesome blog you have here. I am definitely following!

  6. Great blog! As a new Catholic, I appreciate any forum that adds to my arsenal of faith treasures – and what better than the saints and Sacred Scripture from which to draw strength and hope?

  7. I love quotes! Especially when they’re Catholic. I’ll be coming back for more 🙂

  8. “one cannot otherwise conquer his enemy, without first conquering himself”

  9. Hey…I love your blog!!! I am also a big fan of quotes as you can see from my blog, especially GK Chesterton!

  10. Howdy!

I’ve been collecting faith-related quotes as well (since I was in high school) and finally decided to organize them all and share them with the world. I recently created and would love for anyone and everyone to pay it a visit and share any quotes of your own!

Thanks for your great website. Keep the good quotes coming!

    In Christ,
    Greg Aitchison
